Industry Involvement
Our family welcomes the opportunity to participate in all facets of the cattle industry. We are active in the local, state, regional and national beef and Angus organizations.
At the 2026 Certified Angus Beef conference we received the Seedstock Commitment to Excellence Award. We purchase and feed to harvest over 600 customer steers a year. We also purchase and develop over 300 heifers a year. We started a small buy-back program in 2008 and it has grown to a large part of our program. We harvest at National Beef in Kansas through US Premium Beef. We get individual harvest data on all steers and return that data to our customers.

2026 Seedstock Commitment to Excellence Award
We have been a member of the AAA Maternal Plus program since 2018. We received Gold Data Driven Herd status in 2025 and 2026, the first two years of the award. We submit over 6,000 data points on our cattle every year to AAA. This data helps make the EPDs on our herd as accurate as possible. Using all available tools is an integral part of our program.
